Welcome to my website. My name is Karl Höhn (pronounced 'hern'). I was also once known briefly as "Karl Hwang" when I took my Korean wife's name. We are now divorced. I created this website on 26 December 2010 as a beacon to attract those interested in finding out some basic and useful information about measuring the power of nations. By providing a link to my discussion group (see below), I had also hoped that it could serve as a forum for like-minded people to exchange information on the quantification of national power. However, a fascination for powermetrics has yet to sweep the globe, so this website, and everything connected with it, remains rather tentative and underused.
